Friends of Bass Strait Islands
Why are we here?
WILDCARE Friends of Bass Strait Islands has, since 2002/3, undertaken environmental projects mainly within the Flinders Council Region.
What do we do?
Our main focus to date has been weed control, primarily of boxthorn on many of the Furneaux outer isles and around the Flinders coast.
Who are we working with?
We work in cooperation with Parks and Wildlife Service, NRM North, tacinc and Flinders Island Landcare.
