Maria Island - "Sweeping the Broom"

Travel to Maria Island and join the Friends of Maria in their ongoing battle to control Canary Broom.
Come along for one day, for the weekend, or stay for longer if you can.
Accommodation will be provided free-of-charge. (The type of accommodation may depend on numbers attending.)
Transport and accommodation arrangements will be advised closer to the time - early registration will be of great help in organising this.
Newcomers are most welcome - training will be provided to anyone not familiar with this type of weed control. Tools and safety equipment provided.
Some basic GPS training may also be provided, depending on interest.
