Project Funding Submission Form

WILDCARE Inc Internal Grants program is funded from member's annual fees and money generated by investment of WILDCARE Inc funds. There is no government contribution to the internal grants scheme. The Grants scheme is therefore only open to WILDCARE Inc groups and WILDCARE members. Applications are assessed by the WILDCARE Board of Management.

WILDCARE Inc funding is available for projects undertaken by WILDCARE Inc members with the support of staff from our partner organisations (PWS, DPIW) that will facilitate the involvement of WILDCARE Inc members and groups in practical natural and cultural heritage conservation and reserve management projects. So talk to your partners, talk to members, check that all the Departmental approval requirements have been met, then fill in this application and submit to the office@wildcaretas.org.au

Projects of up to a maximum of $2,000 will be considered by the Board. No fudging, no ambit claims. Check the costs and apply for what is really needed. Make sure you have necessary internal approvals. Check out the Selection Criteria, Process & Requirements at the end of this form. The Board will only accept submissions for funding done on this on-line form and received two weeks prior to the Board Meeting otherwise submissions will be deferred to the next meeting. Selection Criteria:

Process & Requirements: Applications will be assessed and projects selected by the WILDCARE Inc Board of Management. The assessment criteria will include:

  1. Relevance to objectives of WILDCARE;
  2. Partner-supported project unlikely to be funded from other sources this financial year;
  3. Project involves WILDCARE members, both in planning and implementation phases;

Other requirements associated with approved funding:

  1. WILDCARE Inc support must be acknowledged in relation to the project in any media promotions, and where possible on the project itself;
  2. Project leader must be willing to submit a final report, in the form of an article, for WILDTIMES newsletter;
  3. Funds must be spent within 12 months of approval date. The Board may decide to return unspent funds to the General Account for re-allocation after discussion with the Project Leader 
  4. The Board of Management may choose to place specific conditions on approved funding.
