Welcome to WILDCARE Incorporated

WILDCARE Inc is the largest and fastest growing incorporated environmental action group in Tasmania, with membership of around 3000. We undertake volunteer work (around 100,000 hours per year) supporting natural and cultural heritage conservation and reserve management throughout the State. We work in reserves, on private land and even in offices, in close partnership with a number of government agencies who have responsibility for managing our environment. We provide around $40,000 each year, from our own funds, through a Small Project Grants Scheme to support the volunteer activity that our members undertake. We welcome sponsorship to support conservation projects and programs, through our Corporate programs.

We are a Registered Environmental Organisation and have a tax-deductible donation Gift Fund, and a number of associated Natural Partner Funds supporting reserve management and nature conservation activities and projects. You can make a donation on line, by completing a GIVING pamphlet or by including a donation with your membership payment.

To join WILDCARE Inc and to register for the volunteer work you would like to do, complete the on line Membership form or download a PDF membership form from our forms page.

Our organisation has 4 main branches

We will be developing other branches to support other elements of natural and cultural heritage conservation as the opportunities arise.

Another great corporate donation received!
Earlier this year WILDCARE and Rob Pennicott (owner of Bruny Island Charters and Tasman Island Cruises) got together to create the Tasmanian Coast Conservation Fund - to care for coastal reserves, seabirds and marine mammals. Now Rob Pennicott has also become the largest corporate donor to the Tasmanian Coast Conservation Fund, part of the WILDCARE Gift Fund. » read more
