TrailKeeper Program
The TrailKeeper program is a volunteer program assisting the care and maintenance of the Tasmanian Trail. TrailKeeper volunteers and TrailKeeper groups can adopt sections of the Trail. The TrailKeeper Program is part of the partnership between WILDCARE Inc and the Tasmanian Trail Association.
Interested in volunteering on Tasmania's premier multi-use trail - the Tasmanian Trail?
Would you like to become a TrailKeeper and keep an eye on a favourite part of the Trail?
Are you Interested in forming a local Trailkeeper Group to care for a section of the Trail?
The TrailKeeper program offers you the following opportunities - join WILDCARE Inc and then ...
a) nominate the Friends of the Tasmanian Trail as your volunteer group. This automatically gives you membership of the Friends of the Tasmanian Trail and you will receive information about volunteer projects coming up on the Trail and/or
b) let the WILDCARE Office Office@wildcaretas.org.au know that you are interested as an individual in adopting your favourite section of the Trail under a TrailKeeper Agreement and/or
c) encourage others in your local area who are interested in caring for the Trail to also join WILDCARE Inc and then form a TrailKeeper Group. For information about how to form a TrailKeeper Group see the WILDCARE Procedures Manual - Forming a CARes group. We can then develop a TrailKeeper Agreement for your group.
Lets get together and make sure that the fantastic Tasmanian Trail is cared for!

WILDCARE Inc, in cooperation with our government partners, undertakes a number of large scale, ongoing, annual projects and programs. Information about these programs can be found below.
