WILDCARE Deslacs Cape Deslacs Nature Reserve working bee (July)The Cape Deslacs Nature Reserve contains perched dune fields of national significance. The resident colony of Short-tailed Shearwater (Tasmanian Muttonbird) is estimated to support 8,000 burrows, and is protected by Tasmanian legislation.
Wildcare Deslacs undertakes a range of activities, including weed control and feral animal trapping, to protect these natural values.
